Care navigation

Don't know where to start? That's exactly what we help with.

A focus area is not a reason for therapy. We separate everyday enrichment from professional support, so you never feel pushed.

Two very different questions

Would you like to strengthen a skill?

Free home activities, or a local class built around what your child enjoys.

Would you like to talk to a professional?

We help you work out which kind of professional fits, before you spend anything.

Which professional does what

A plain-language guide, in no particular order.

Your pediatrician

The right first stop for almost everything.

Start here if you are unsure who to ask, or if anything about hearing, vision, sleep or growth came up.

Developmental pediatrician

A doctor who focuses on how children develop.

Useful when several areas come up together, or when a skill has been lost.

Speech & language therapist

Communication, understanding, speech clarity and feeding.

Useful when understanding or using language is the main area.

Occupational therapist

Hand skills, daily living, sensory and self-regulation.

Useful for fine motor, self-care and sensory areas.

Physiotherapist

Movement, balance, strength and posture.

Useful when gross motor is the main area.

Child psychologist

Behaviour, emotions, attention and learning.

Useful when attention, mood or behaviour affects everyday life across settings.

Special educator / learning support

Reading, writing, spelling and classroom learning.

Useful when literacy or numeracy stays effortful despite good teaching.

How we check who we introduce you to

· Clinical psychologists and special educators: RCI registration.

· Speech & language therapists: BASLP or MASLP qualification.

· Doctors: NMC or State Medical Council registration.

· We never list uncredentialed coaches under a clinical heading.

· We never take a referral fee from a registered medical practitioner. Our income comes from flat listing fees and non-medical enrichment programmes.
